Doris M. Pearson

Doris Martha (Lippold) Pearson, a longtime resident of Westwood, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood.  She was 92.  Doris was born May 17, 1926 in Dedham, Massachusetts, the only child of Friedrich August and Marie Martha (Schubert) Lippold.  She grew up in Germany and graduated from High School and attended business school there before moving back to the United States.  In 1950 she married Robert Gustav Pearson, to whom she was wed for 58 years until his death in 2008.  She worked briefly as a dental assistant and receptionist for Dr. Morley in Islington.  Doris is survived by two sons, Ronald R. Pearson, and his wife Cheryl, of Norfolk, and Stephen J. Pearson, and his wife Susan, of Norwood; her two daughters, Lorraine D. Krupnick, and her husband Richard, of Lakeville, and Loretta H. Carrigan, and her husband Mark, of Medfield; as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Visiting hours will be held Monday, November 19th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood  followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 12:30.  Interment will be in the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, Baker Street, West Roxbury.  In lieu of flowers donations to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
