Donald Robert Taylor, a longtime resident of Dedham and formerly of Florida, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at his home in Brookline.  He was 78.  Donald was born February 24, 1932 in Winthrop, Massachusetts, a son of Chester and Helen (McLaughlin) Taylor.  He attended Revere High School and served in the US Army during the Korean War.  Donald worked at General Electric for 15 years before working as a machine operator for Bay State Bindery in South Boston for 30 years until his retirement.  Donald was a talented woodworker who enjoyed making dollhouses.  He was the husband of the late Anna M. (Froia) and the former husband of the late Mary (Coyle).  He is survived by his five daughters, Dawn Flaherty, and her husband Keith, of Wilmington, Ruth Tucker of Mississippi, Linda Rivard of Brockton, Judith Ferrullo, and her husband Donald, of Brockton, and Diane Sullivan, and her husband William, of Brockton; his sister, Carol Smith, and her husband Ed, of Irvine, California; his two brothers, Joseph Santoro, and his wife Diane, of Cotuit, and Robert Santoro, and his wife Anita, of Brandon, Florida; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 11th from 5-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  Donald’s funeral will be held Monday at 11 AM at the Funeral Home followed by burial in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham with military honors.
