David W. Moore, an almost lifelong resident of Dedham, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his home in Dedham. He was 73. David was born March 18, 1939 in Boston, the son of Thomas W. and Evelyn E. (Grant) Moore. He retired from the Army National Guard and worked in construction for LJ Reardon Company of Norwood before working as a communications technician for Northern Telecom Company and McLaughlin and Sullivan. David was a member of the Electrical Workers Union Local 103. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly R. (Girard) Moore; his two sons, David W. Moore Jr. of Brooklyn, New York, and Thomas D. Moore, and his wife Jodi, of Lynn Haven, Florida; his sister, Audrey Ferris of Medway; three grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. Visiting hours will be held Friday, October 12th from 5 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend David’s funeral service with military honors Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Donations in his memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road SW, Lilburn, Georgia, 30047 would be appreciated.
