Clara M. Folan

Clara M. (Dalton) Folan, a life long resident of Norwood, died on February 14, 2012 with her family by her side.  She was 91.  Mrs. Folan was born in Norwood to the late William J. and Emma (Oelschlagel) Dalton.  She earned an Associates Degree from Stoneleigh Junior College in Rye Beach, NH,with the  Class of 1940.   After graduation she met and married her late husband, John J. Folan and together they raised 2 children, John J. Jr. and Faith F. Grassi  also of Norwood.  She was the sister of the late Bernice L. Dalton and the loving grandmother of Faith, Hope and Kyle Grassi.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 9:00 AM from the May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols St., Norwood followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM at St. Timothy’s Church , 650 Nichols St., Norwood.  Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.  Visiting hours on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
