Christopher G. Young

Christopher Grant Young, of Framingham, and formerly of Dedham, died Tuesday,January 20, 2015 at thee Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham.  He was 63.  Christopher was born December 2, 1951 in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of George Blake and Barbara Pearl (Grant) Young.  He worked as an automotive rim refinisher for Adesa Company in Framingham.  Christopher enjoyed music, playing both the bass guitar and the piano; and he also enjoyed golf, horseshoes and cribbage.  He was the longtime partner of the late Kari Galvin, and is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie Remillard of Blackstone, his brother, Timothy F. Young of Norwood, his two sisters, Pamela J. Luciano of West Roxbury, and Carolyn J. Colella of Plainville, as well as his three grandchildren, and numerous godchildren, nieces, and nephews.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday, January 25th from 2 to 6 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Monday, January 26th at 10 AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham.  Interment will be private.  Donations in Christopher’s memory to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated
