Christian Loren Zingg, a resident of North Attleboro for the past 8 years, and formerly of Rehobeth, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Home and Hospice Care Facility of Rhode Island, in Providence. He was 39 and fought a long and courageous battle with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Christian was born December 11, 1973 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Michael P. and Karen E. (MacKinnon) Zingg. He graduated from Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School and earned his Associate Degree from New England Institute of Technology in Warwick, Rhode Island. Christian was employed as a truck driver for BNH Transportation Company of Walpole, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Smith); his son, Joseph D. Zingg of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; his daughter, Kirsten of North Attleboro; his brother Michael D. Zingg, and his wife Kristina, of Gilford, New Hampshire; and his mother, Karen E. Zingg of Westwood and his granddaughter Jaylinn. Christian was the son of the late Michael P. Zingg. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 95 Deerfield Avenue, Westwood. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Christian’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to the American Red Cross, 139 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142 would be appreciated.
