Carol Y. Tryon

Carol Y. (Conover) Tryon,  a resident of Norwood, Massachusetts died on November 24, 2011 at the age of 82. Carol was born in Highland Park, Michigan to the late Clifford E. and Elizabeth (Daniels) Conover.  She grew up in New York, living in Brownsville, Watertown, and Utica before moving to Norwood, Massachusetts. Mrs. Tryon was an accomplished artist and an active member of the First Church of Christ Scientist.  She belonged to the Railroad Club with her late husband. Carol enjoyed taking care of her flower garden and was a devoted grandmother. Family was her greatest pride and joy. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond B. Tryon, and the loving step-mother of David Tryon and his wife Michelle of VA, Bruce Tryon and his wife Marilyn of MA, Alice Neidhardt and her husband Frank of Wales and the late Paul G.Sholette. She was the sister-in-law of Georgia Conover of FL. Carol was the loving grandmother of Mara Jane Sholette of SC and step-grandmother of Angelica, Katherine, David and Joan Tryon, Heather Neidhardt and the late Eben Tryon and is also survived by 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford, NY. Interment is private.
