Barbara B. Conneely

Barbara Bernadette (O’Loughlin) Conneely, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home in Dedham.  She was 91.  Barbara was born September 9, 1930 in Lettermore,  Galway, Ireland, the daughter of Coleman and Bridget (Joyce) O’Loughlin.  She worked as a housekeeper in private households.  She was a member of the Irish Social Club.  Barbara was former wife of the late Patrick Joseph Conneely, and the mother of the late Michael “Pugs” Conneely.  She is survived by two daughters, Maureen Connolly of Dedham, and Barbara Jean Conneely, and her partner Hank Lear, of Dedham; two sons, Thomas J. Conneely, and his wife Rosa, of Norwood, and John Conneely; a brother, Michael O’Loughlin, and his wife Bridie, of Stoughton; two sisters, Bridie Lydon  of Roslindale, and Agnes McDonagh of Norwood; three grandchildren, Donald Payne Jr, and his wife Talia, Jennifer Conneely, and Aidan Conneely; and her great granddaughter, Stevie Jean Payne.  Barbara was the sister of the late Coleman, John, Kate, Winnie, Ann, Nora, and Mary.  Visiting hours will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 9 to 10:30 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham followed by her funeral service in the funeral home at 10:30 am.  Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham
