Andreas "Andy" Panagopoulos, beloved husband of Maria (Thomas) Panagopoulos of Dedham, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28th, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Patras, Greece, to Giorgios and Athanassia Panagopoulos, Andreas was predeceased by his brothers Kostantinos and Ioannis Panagopoulos. He is survived by his brother Aristos Panagopoulos of Patras, Greece, and his sister Maria Pappas of Walpole. He was the devoted father of George Panagopoulos and his wife Dena of Dedham, Effie Feltham and her husband Ryan of Dedham, and Stacy Fanning and her husband Austin of Boston. Andreas also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Seraphina and Luca Feltham, who brought endless joy to his life and numerous nieces and nephews in both US and Greece.
Andreas came to America in pursuit of the American dream where he also found the love of his life, started a family, and built a successful business. It was his integrity and work ethic that made him a successful entrepreneur. Andreas treated everyone who walked through the doors of Dedham House of Pizza with love and respect, always remembering faces, favorite orders, and the little details that made people feel special.
His happiest days were spent surrounded by family at Craigville Beach on Cape Cod and at his Cape house, soaking up the sun and the joy of being together. He was a man of simple pleasures, strong values, and deep love for those closest to him.
Andreas will be remembered as a loving patriarch, a generous spirit, and a man whose legacy lives on through the family and community he helped build.
