A. Anita Noris

Arra Anita (Stewart) Barrier Noris, a resident of Pinellas Park, Florida for over 30 year, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at  Highgate Manor Nursing Home in Dedham. She was 88.  Anita was born July 6, 1924 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of John Irving and Christena (Robinson) Stewart.  She graduated from Roslindale High School.  She was the wife of Mr. Barrier and widow of the late Jeremiah J. Noris.  Anita had many different jobs but spent the longest time as a clerk in a dentist office in Florida.  She was also a very talented seamstress.  She is survived by her sister, Virginia Laskey of West Roxbury.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 15th from 2 to 4 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 63 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday at 10 AM at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
