Hasapis, George E.
George E. Hasapis, a resident of Norwood, died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was 54. George was born April 6, 1967 in Tripoli, Greece, a son of Evenzalos and Niki (Peterlous) Hasapis, immigrants from Greece. George worked in the restaurant industry as a pizza maker. He is survived by his mother, Niki Hasapis of Norwood, and his sister, Maria Handras, of Clifton, New Jersey. He was the brother of the late Anastasia Hasapis who predeceasewd him in 2013. George’s funeral was held Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Roslindale. George was buried at the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery on Baker Street in West Roxbury.

Very sorry to hear this news recently. I went to school with George at the Washington Irving Middle School and West Roxbury High School.
