Chester P. Rachalski passed away on July 7, 2021 at the Benchmark Senior Living in Norwood. He was also a former resident of Hyde Park. Born in Boston in 1928, he was the son of Anthony Rachalski and Sofia (Kunda) Szymczak. Mr. Rachalski was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine A. (Rocha) and the dear father of Lynda Hooley of Lynn, Paul Rachalski and his wife Denise of Florida, Karen Curley and her husband Joe of Readville and Lori-Ann O’Hare and her husband Peter of Weymouth. He was the proud grandfather of Matthew, Travis and Nathan Curley, Maxwell Hooley, Stacey Emond, and Scott O’Hare. Great grandfather of Bradyn and TristanVisiting hours to be held on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3 to 7PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham with the funeral from the funeral home on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 8:30 AM to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM at the St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington St., West Roxbury. Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park. Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
