Andy Treon (Andreas Trellopoulos), of Roslindale, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021, at the age of 83. Andy was born on June 10th, 1937 in Platanakia, Serres, Greece, son of Efstathios and Fotini (Athanasiadou) Trellopoulos. Andy served in the Greek army and migrated to the U.S. with his wife, Helen Treon (Eleni Chrysostomidis). Andy became a self-taught general contractor, learning many trades for over 50 years. During his retirement, he enjoyed grilling in his backyard with family, spending time in Roslindale Square playing cards with friends, and grabbing his favorite coffee at Dunkin Donuts. Andy loved to tell stories of his Greek heritage and childhood to all. Andy is survived by his beloved wife Helen, children Fotini, Stathis, Christine and Sophia, and grandchildren Ariel and Alexander. Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Nectarios Church, in Roslindale, MA, in loving memory of Andy Treon. The family of Andy Treon wishes to thank everyone who has reached out with their love and support during this very difficult time.
