Palmisciano, Dorothy J.
Dorothy June (McGrath) Palmisciano, a resident of Foxboro and formerly of Dedham, died Thursday, March 25, 2021, at her home in Foxboro. She was 98. Dorothy was born July 30, 1922, in Boston, Massachusetts, one of eleven children of Anthony and Beatrice (Doherty) McGrath, immigrants from Ireland. Dorothy graduated from Milton High School. She worked in the payroll department at Lechmere Sales Company in Dedham until her retirement in 1980. Dorothy was a member of the Drama Club at the Norwood Senior Center, where she also sang in the choir and enjoyed weekly line dancing classes. She loved golfing and was an avid Red Sox fan. Dorothy was the wife of the late Enrico H. Palmisciano, and the mother of the late Mary L Weibrecht (husband John), the late Gerard W. Palmisciano, and the late Kevin P. Palmisciano. She was sister to the late George, Leo, Paul, Joseph, and Rita McGrath, the late Rose Eaton, the late Alice Kennedy, the late Ruth Stellberger, and the late Kal Mahr. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Ann B. Fallon of Foxboro; her son, Denis R. Palmisciano; and her sister, Lorraine Kunz of Pembroke. She is further survived by her eight grandchildren and their spouses, William Weibrecht, Melissa Colleton (husband Ronald), Kellie Laguerre (husband Winshell), Peter Fallon Jr., Jennifer Espinal (husband Eury), Jessica Fallon, Ryan Fallon, and Eric Fallon. She will be greatly missed by her eleven great-grandchildren, Logan and Amelia Weibrecht, Madison and Brooke Colleton, Lia and Kylie Rae Hayes, Marcel Laguerre, Myla Espinal, Liam Fallon, Kaiden Rota, and Henry Fallon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Monday, March 29, 2021, at 11 am at St. Mary’s Church, 420 High Street, Dedham, followed by interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Visitation with Dorothy’s Family from 10 to 11 am Monday at St. Mary’s Church prior to the Mass.
