Fraser, R. Sheila
R. Sheila Fraser, a resident of Dedham for over 30 years, died Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA after a brief illness. She was 66. Sheila was born in Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth V. (Higginbotham) Leach. She was a graduate of Tenney High School in Methuen, MA with the Class of 1960. Sheila worked for Simmons Upholstery, Malden Mills, MCI World Com, and for the past 5 years she was the office manager for Merrill Corporation of Boston. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 18 of Dedham. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Richard P. Fraser; her son, Harry M. Fraser of Dedham; her two daughters, Donna M. Fraser of Pittsburgh, PA and Stacey E. Wreath of Columbus, OH; her two brothers, Richard Leach Jr of Methuen and David A. Lee of Methuen; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours were held Sunday, September 14th from 4-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham. Relatives and friends will gather at the funeral home Monday Sept 15th at 8 AM and proceed to St. Mary’s Church, 420 High St., Dedham for a Mass of Christian Burial ay 9 o clock. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham. Donations in Sheila’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
