Carroll, William F.
William Francis Carroll, a resident of Walpole, and formerly of Dedham, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the Season’s Hospice Home in Milton. He was 65. William was born June 22, 1954 in Boston, Massachusetts, the only son of William Francis and Anna Veronica (Feeney) Carroll. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 29 years, Anne K. (Gallagher) Carroll of Walpole; his six children, Michael W. Carroll of Dedham, Lee A. Carroll of Dedham, Ryan R. Carroll, and his wife Lauren, of Queensland, Australia, Kyle F. Carroll of Hyde Park, US Army Sgt William D. Carroll of J.B. Lewis-McChord, Washington, and Skye K. Carroll of Hyde Park; his sisters, Linda Murphy of West Roxbury, Anna Foulds, and her husband Alan, of Reading, Tami Carroll of Westwood, and Jackie Spada, and her husband Nicky, of Plymouth; his five grandchildren, Devin Carroll, Brooke Carroll, Alexis Carroll, David Anderson and Kyle F. Carroll, Jr; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and friends. William was predeceased by his stepfather, Gerry (Ho-Ho) Ford; his wife’s parents Robert and Catherine Gallagher; his sister June M. Rollins; his two nephews, David Murphy and William Murphy; and his beloved cat Howie. Billy’s favorite song was “I Did It My Way” by Frank Sinatra, and he did exactly that! We will love you and miss you forever. You will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment was in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.

A couple of my grandsons were lucky enough to have Billy as a grandfather. Billy was a great guy with lots of love… very sad to read this obituary

I love you uncle Bill. We were pretty close for many years especially while my mother June was staying with you. You put me to work showed me responsibility showed me and my family love and always a good time. I will miss you.
