I had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura for many, many years at Bank of Boston / Fleet / Bank of America. She is hands down one of the nicest, caring, most genuine people I’ve ever known. She always had a smile and a laugh, and was a ray of light that just seemed to brighten everyone around her. She took pride in her job and worked hard and would do anything that anyone asked her to do, and she was always so diligent and responsive. Laura was a year older than me and we both came from big families so we had a lot in common, and she was so easy to talk to and confide in. Laura loved her family, and would share all about Dani and windsurfing, and then when Andre was born, she was just so very proud of him. My son was born a year later, so we had great long conversations about raising our boys and just life in general. Laura was a special person with a wonderful spirit. I am so grateful that our paths in life got to cross when they did, and for as long as they did. Blessing to her family.

    My dear LaLa,

You were the sweetest, kindest person that I have ever met. When you walked into a room, not only did the room light up – but so did everyone in it.

You fought your battle with strength, humor and dignity. You were the baby sister I never had.

    I will miss you always,
    Susan

Laura and I worked together at BAC. She was a great pleasure to work with. I cannot tell how many folks told me what a joy she was to work with and how she went out of her way to help everyone.

She was very proud of her family. She adored Dani. She was so proud of Andre’. She was really happy when Andre’ joined the Marines

She told me what a great adventure she had learning to wind sail. It was something she really enjoyed.

Ida and I will miss her.

    My dearest friend,
I miss you so much. You were one of the most amazing, loving and true people I have ever known. Your friendship became family. I was blessed to know you and have the experience of raising our children together. You were fierce and funny, and always brought a sense of peace to any conversation. You raised an incredible son Andre who will continue to make you proud, and lived a true love story with your husband Dani. I hope to forever hear your laughter in my mind, and know that you will be a guardian angel above. Rest in peace and blessings. Much love, Tracey

I worked with Laura at FleetBoston/Bank of America. What a funny, caring, vibrant lady. She lit up a room with her smile and her laugh was infectious. She battled her illness with grace and courage and showed great strength.

I remember one time I came from Albany and her and I went to a meeting and we got ourselves in trouble laughing and carrying on during the meeting. What a great time.

God Bless Dani, Andre and the rest of the family. Heaven definitely got a new angel. ❤️

    Dear Laura,
I’ll see you everywhere, in the ocean and the sand and the sky. When I have a delicious cappuccino. When I see your beloved Sally. You will always be with us, brave one.
    Love always.
