Folsom Funeral Service

Carl McBride Patrick, a resident of Westwood for the past six years, and formerly of Norwood for 49 years, died Thursday, December 5, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  Carl was born August 28, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War.  Carl was the owner and operator of Norwood Auto and Truck Body Repair company in Norwood until his retirement in 1986.  He was a former member of Orient Lodge AF & AM in Norwood.  Carl was a Bruins and a Celtics fan.  He enjoyed reading, tinkering in his workshop, and working with cars.  Carl is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann (Ceriani) Patrick; his son, Bruce Patrick, and his wife Kathleen, of Lakeville; his daughter, Robyn Patrick of Medfield; and his two grandchildren, Cameron and Andrew Patrick.  Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 10 am until noon at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood followed by his funeral service in the funeral home at noon.  Interment with military honors will be in Highland Cemetery in Norwood. In lieu of flowers donations to the Deutches Altenheim, 2222 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132 to support the Senior Place Adult Program would be appreciated.
