Wheelock, Morgan Dix
Morgan Dix Wheelock, a world renowned landscape architect, died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his home in Brookline. He was 81. Morgan was a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida, and formerly a resident of New York. He was born in Manhattan, New York and attended the Fessenden School in Newton, Massachusetts, before graduating from St. Paul’s High School in Concord, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Harvard University. Morgan is survived by his wife, Judith (Taylor) Wheelock; his children, Timothy Dix Wheelock of Natick, Morgan Dix Wheelock III of Chestnut Hill, Cornelia Wheelock of Sherborn, Edmund Stairs Twining IV of Sherborn, and Taylor Pratt Twining of Rumson, New Jersey. He was the brother of Dr. Frederick Wheelock of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A Memorial Service will be held September 11, 2019 at 1 pm at Memorial Church at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
To my husband’s 8X cousin’s family, I am so sorry for the loss of Morgan.
