Mirlocca, June P.
June Colette Mirlocca lived in her home in Dedham, MA until her death on January 15, 2019. She was born in Everett, MA on September 26, 1931, graduated from Brighton High School in 1949 and had lived in Dedham since 1952. She leaves her sons, David Mirlocca of Tucson, AZ, Kevin Mirlocca and his wife Carrie of Tucson, her daughter Christine Buttery and her husband Ed of West Roxbury, MA and her daughter-in-law Diane Oster of Tucson. She was predeceased by her husband Salvatore Mirlocca and her son Michael Mirlocca. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Nicole and Ross Buttery of West Roxbury, Tami Oellig, Dusty Krager, Jennifer Mirlocca Fadda and Robin Mirlocca Carson, Angelina and Michelle Mirlocca, Andrew Barnett, Erin Stoermer, Casie Curtis and Hailie Barnett along with her great granddaughters, Sydnei Oster, Zoey and Emma Stoermer, all of Tucson. She leaves her feral kitties, Annie and Brady and her many outside feral colonies that she cared for so deeply.
June had a strong interest in human rights, animal rights and environmental issues. She actively supported many organizations, including the Neponset Valley Humane Society where she served as a director and coordinated many of the programs. Her special interest was helping stray and feral cats through the trap, neuter, and return program. She has requested any donations to be sent to the Neponset Valley Humane Society. P.O. Box 544, Norwood, MA 02062 for their feral cat program.
At her request, there are no services but, it is her hope that you will all be kind to each other and the animals who shared this planet with us. She was a free spirit who loved to travel and never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand. All she ever asked was that you pass it along. June was fortunate to be surrounded by a large circle of caring family and friends where she was loved by all and will be greatly missed by all.
My heart goes out to Christine Buttery and her family. May God give you strength to cope with the tremendous loss of Your beloved Mrs. June.
May she Rest In Paradise
Love Jack Jodi & Chloè
