Borosavage, Anna G.
Anna Genevieve (Garfinkle) Borosavage, a resident of Dedham for over 70 years, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Season’s Hospice in Milton. She was 90. Anna was born May 18, 1928 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of David and Annie (McGlaughlin) Garfinkle. Annie was the wife of the late Daniel Gallagher, her first husband. Anne, the name she frequently went by, graduated from Girl’s High School in Dorchester and worked as a proofreader for R.L. Polk & Company, Maripotti’s Shoe Store in Dedham Center and finally for Dr. Barton Heller. Anne was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary of Dedham, and enjoyed bowling, bingo, shopping and was also an accomplished dancer. She was the wife of the late Eugene Anthony Borosavage who predeceased her in 2005; the mother of the late Stephen Borosavage; and the sister of the late Daniel, William, and John Gallagher, and the late Theresa Ulchak, and the late Genevieve M. Ryan. Anne is survived by her son, Paul T. Borosavage, and his wife Wendy, of Medfield, and her two grandchildren, Tyler and Amanda Borosavage. Services and interment were private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anna can be made to the Foundation of Mass. Eye and Ear to support age related macular degeneration (AMD) research.
