 Ada M. (Cenci) Ferzoco, a resident of Hyde Park for 58 years, passed away at her home on August 14, 2018 at the age of 91.  Ada was born in Somerville on January 1, 1927 and was the fourth of five children to Nicholas and Immacolata (Di Salvo) Cenci. She grew up in Somerville and spent time working for the Raytheon Company and John Hancock Financial.  She was also the past president of the parent teachers association at the Benjamin G. Brown School in Somerville during the years that her children attended.

Ada and Albert eventually relocated their family to Hyde Park in 1960 in order to be closer to family.  She spent many years working as a soda jerk at the Hyde Park Pharmacy and loved going to yard sales, visiting her favorite Dunkin Doughnuts in Cleary Square, and spending time with her family.

Ada was the devoted wife of the late Albert C. Ferzoco, and the loving mother of Dianne L. Hays of  Hyde Park, Steven A. Ferzoco of Florence Alabama, and Philip N. Ferzoco of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.  She was the dear sister of the late Domenico Cenci, Adolpho Cenci, Mariano Cenci, and Mary Tannozzini.  She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Ada will be held on Saturday, August 19th, from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St, DEDHAM, before proceeding to Most Precious Blood Church, 43 Maple St, Hyde Park for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.  Interment to follow at St. Michaels Cemetery, Boston.  Donations in Ada’s name cane be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452
