Aunt Elizabeth, I’m so very grateful to have had you in my life. We shared a lot of laughs, a few tears and there will never be another one like you. I will carry so many wonderful memories with me until I see you again. With much love! Janice.
Mrs. Gleichauf was my 4th grade teacher in Needham. Still to this day, she was my favorite. We kept in touch for years, I received a Holiday card back several years ago, saying return to sender, address was undelivered, so I did not know where she moved to. I pulled out the ceramic Christmas tree she gave me for the holidays and thought of her this morning, as I do every year, so I found that she had passed away online. I am so sorry to hear this. She was a wonderful woman, and I have very fond memories of her. My thoughts are with the family, as I know she will be very missed. Much love to you all.
I have often thought of my Aunt Elizabeth over the years. Wondering about her. A couple of weeks ago as I was going through some papers I found her name with the place she was living. I called and found out she was there until 2018. I was very surprised. I feel really bad I did not seek her out. RIP Aunt Elizabeth. 90 years old. I should not have been surprised. Her mother, my grandmother Viola lived to be 95.
