Obuchon, Anne J.
Anne Jay (Mingels) Obuchon, a resident of Weymouth, and formerly a resident of Dedham, Plymouth, and Sandwich, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a brief illness. She was 71. Anne was born February 14, 1947 in Norwood, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Francis T. Mingels and the late Kathryn (Flanagan) Allen. She worked as a human resources administrator for a law firm. Anne enjoyed travelling, shopping and history, and was excited to have recently joined the Red Hat Society. She was the wife of the late George Clifford Obuchon, and the mother of Matthew J. Obuchon , and his wife Jessica (Husband), of Braintree, and the stepdaughter of Shirley (Alber) Mingels of Dedham. She was the sister of Mark W. Mingels, and his wife Betsy, of East Bridgewater, Scott Mingels of Dedham, Emily Jeanne Mingels of Greenville, SC, Pallas Wahl of Wareham, the late James J. Mingels, the late Gerard B. Mingels, and his wife Toni Cassis, and the late Cleet Allen. Anne was the sister-in-law of Barbara Harrington, and her husband Daniel, of Walpole, and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service Friday, June 29th at 10:30 am at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham, MA 02026. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Luke Lutheran Church (address above) would be appreciated.
