Nancy Claire (Foley) Capone, a resident of Norwood, and formerly of Dedham, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood. She was 77. Nancy was born November 15, 1940 in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the daughter of Thomas Joseph and Clara (Tauber) Foley. She worked for many years as a clerk of the Court in Dedham District Court. Nancy was the wife of the late Alfred R. “Al” Capone Jr. who predeceased her in 2014; the mother of the late Lisa Marie Capone; and the sister of the late Patricia Foley. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy A. Capone of Stoughton; her grandsons, Mark T. Henry III, and Anthony J. “AJ” Palermo; and her sister, Shirley D’Angelo of North Attleboro. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home Monday, March 12th starting at 9 am and proceed to St. Mary’s Church, 420 High Street, Dedham for Nancy’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o clock. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
So sorry for the loss. Thoughts and prayers with Nancy and her boys.
