Killion, Florence M.
Florence M. Killion (Cenzalli) passed away on October 28, 2017 at the age of 89. Mrs. Killion was a lifelong resident of Dedham. Born in Dedham she was the daughter of Nicola and Mariangela F. (Capone) Cenzalli. Her sons describe her as a “lady of many talents”. They remember her attending night classes to learn cake decorating, floral arranging and painting, just to name a few as there were many other classes she enrolled in. She is also remembered by her hardy personality and was extremely welcoming to everyone. You were always urged to sit and have a cup of coffee with a bite to eat when you entered her home. She was a “fantastic” cook and great mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her garden and her pets.
Mrs. Killion is survived by her husband, Edward J. Killion, Jr. and sons, Edward J. Killion,III and Gail of Jacksonville, Florida, Mark G. Killion and his wife Francesca of Norwood and Francis D. Killion of Burlington, New Jersey. She was the devoted grandmother to 5 grand children Ryleigh Killion, Nicole Turcotte, Antoinette Decker- Weiss, Michele Shannon, Tina Marie Yanchuk and 10 great grand children. Mrs. Killion was the youngest of 10 siblings which predeceased her.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 9:30-11:30AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., in Dedham with a mass of Christian burial at 12PM at St. Anne’s Church, 82 W. Milton St., Hyde Park. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
