In my thoughts Susan and family.
Mr. Jacobs was a great man, I have so many fond memories of him from church and outside of church. He always could put a smile on your face. My parents were very fond of him too! May he Rest In Peace. God bless.
I first met Bill when working at the Westwood Recreation Department many years ago. I was told he was the only person who knew the mechanics to run the pumps for the pool and its filters! He was obviously a treasure! And always so personable. Over the years, bumping into him here and there around town, I always saw him with a smile. I consider him one of the “icons” of Westwood. A “townie.”
I last saw Billy just a few weeks ago at Westwood Day. What a great time he was having! Judy told me she’d been trying to get him back to the car for a half an hour — but he was meeting friends and having a blast! He couldn’t walk more than a few feet and someone was stopping him to say hello!
Billy was a great guy. My sincere condolences.
It is with a heavy heart to have my Dad gone but he went peacefully and with dignity and he has now joined his daughter, Lori, in heaven. God Bless and I love you!
