Wrenn, Patricia
Patricia (Spinning) Wrenn, a former resident of Dedham and Needham, died Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Rivercrest Nursing Home in Concord, Massachusetts. She was 90. Patsy was born July 14, 1927 in Paris, France, the daughter of Kenneth Osbourne and Edith (Hensey) Spinning. She graduated from Barnard College in New York City, New York with the Class of 1949. Patricia served on the board of directors, and as president from 1968 to 1972, of the International Institute of Boston, a charity that assists immigrants to the United States. Patricia was the wife of the late Robert Duffield Wrenn who predeceased her in 2013, and the sister of the late Jane Ferretti. She is survived by her two sons, Robert D. Wrenn Jr. of Berkeley, California, and George L. Wrenn of Eureka, California; her three daughters, Susan Wrenn Rugo of Shirley, Patrica Wrenn of Sarasota, Florida, and Edith McCasland of Littleton; her sister Barbara Powers of Long Island, New York; and six grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service Saturday, September 16th at 11 am at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 59 Court Street, Dedham, MA.
