Lorraway, David C.
David Christian Lorraway, of Roslindale and Chestnut Hill, died Monday, March 6, 2017 unexpectedly at his home. He was 64. David was born April 9, 1952 in Sydney, Australia, the son of Allan Nye and Elizabeth (Gravenor) Lorraway. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Sydney University. David worked for a while in banking and most recently worked in sales and marketing for Recall, a supplier of organizational systems. David is survived by his wife, Maxene (Meisterman) Lorraway; his daughter, Nicolette Ellen Lorraway of Sydney, Australia; his son, Doryn David Lorraway; two brothers, Douglas and Christopher Lorraway; and two sisters, Robyn Breckenridge, and Helen Dodd. Visitation with David’s family will be held Sunday, March 12th, 2017 at his Chestnut Hill residence. David will be buried in Sydney, Australia. In lieu of flowers donations to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute for leukemia and lymphoma research would be appreciated.
I am so very, very sorry, dear David. The name ‘David’ means beloved, and you were beloved. This world has a little less light without you. May you find peace as you move on to the next great adventure.
