Foley, Helen
Helen Eileen (Graves) Foley, a resident of Dedham, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Norwood Hospital. She was 85. Helen was born January 18, 1932 in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts the only child of William Walter and Pearl Anne (Tate) Graves, immigrants from Nova Scotia, Canada. Helen was the wife of the late Robert Charles Foley who predeceased her in 2011 and is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Foley, and her fiancé William Nickerson, of Dedham, and Kathleen McDermott of Holyoke. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends will gather at the funeral home Thursday starting at 9 am and proceed to St. Anne’s Church, 82 West Milton Street, Readville for Her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o clock. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers donation in memory of Helen’s love of animals (especially horses) may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 would be appreciated.

It is with great sadness that we learned about Eileen’s passing. We have very fond memories of our years on Kimball Road chatting with Jo and Eileen out front on a daily basis. She was a wonderful person and a great neighbor! So very sorry for your loss, Patty and Kathy! Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers!
