Sandra Barbara (Kirschner) Bryan, of Westwood, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts. She was 78. Sandra was born December 5, 1938 in the Bronx, New York, the daughter of Samuel and Bertha Kirschner. After graduating high school she spent two years in nursing school before becoming a secretary at Analog Devices and then secretary to the President of Putnam Investments from where she retired in 2004. Sandra served as the President of the National Secretaries Association of American. She was also a member of the Westwood Senior Citizens and the Wacky Women Wanderers. She was the sister of the late Norman Kirschner and is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Bryan; her son, Eric S.Bryan of Westwood; her brother, Howard Kirschner of New Jersey; and her four grandchildren, Megan, Shaylyn, Kelly, and Molly. Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 19th from 4 to 7 pm at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sandra’s funeral Tuesday, December 20th at 10 am at the funeral home followed by interment in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
Frank and I send our deepest sympathy on the passing of Sandy. We had great times in our early years. We regret we are unable to attend Sandy’s services, but wanted you to know we are thinking of you Tom and “Ricky” at this time.
