I was so fortunate to marry your son and have you and Eileen as my in-law’s. You made me feel like your daughter and I knew I was loved. You were among the best in so many ways; as a father, a husband to Eileen and more than just “grandpa” to my boys. I know you are on to a better place, but we will always miss you here on Earth.
All my love,
Tessy

Eileen, Brian & Michael,
So sorry for your loss; our families loss. Growing up, our family lives seemed so intertwined with the Fagans. Family Thanksgiving celebrations, first at Beech St, then at South St, were something to which we always looked forward. Summertime brought Sunday outings to Nantasket Beach and vacations in Wellfleet or Myles Standish State Forest. Jimmy was always an integral part of those events and our memories of them.
Eileen, Brian, Michael, so so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He has such character; I always thought he was one of the nicest human beings I ever met: so generous of heart and he was truly one of the most spiritual persons I ever met. He walked the walk, truly. I know how greatly Jim will be missed by the entire Family. He was surrounded by so much love and friendship during his life. Blessings to you all.
Jimmy was more than a neighbor, more than a friend – he was family. From the moment we met Jim and Eileen that sunny September day while house hunting, we knew we found two friends for life. Because of them, we moved to Cameron Road 29 years ago and because of them we never left. We’ve missed Jim’s visits, his wave with a tip of his cap, his Irish music blasting on a spring day and the cribbage games that took place between the two of them on their front lawn on warm summer evenings. We miss his smile, his wit, his love. Cameron Road will never be the same without him nor will our family. We lost one of our own and our hearts are heavy. We love you Jimmy and always will. We love you Eileen and we wish you peace.
We are so sorry to hear of Jims passing. We enjoyed getting to know him while watching many youth football games. Such a nice man! Our thoughts are with the Fagan family.
