Huggan, Donald W.
Donald William Huggan, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Stanley Tippett House in Needham after a long illness. He was 59. Donald was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Rita Ellen (Rawley) and Frederick Emerson Huggan. He worked as a railroad engineer for the Keolis company and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Donald is survived by his wife, Lee Ann (Cody) Huggan; his mother, Rita Ellen (Rawley) Huggan of Dedham; his son, Donald W. Huggan Jr., and his wife Gayle, of Weymouth; his brother Robert Huggan, and his wife Elizabeth, of Franklin; and his sister, Nancy Pelaggi of Dedham. Don was the uncle of John and Michael Pelaggi, and Meghan and Connor Huggan, and the great uncle of Cole, Autumn, and Siena Pelaggi, and the brother-in-law of the late Michael Pelaggi.
Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to the Animal Rescue League, 55 Anna’s Place, Dedham, MA 02026 or to the Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery, 238 Pine St., Dedham, MA 02026.

We were saddened to have read Donnie’s obituary in the Bulletin today–he was a great neighbor and friend–always willing to lend a helping hand!
