Parsons, Howard F.
Howard Francis Parsons, a lifelong resident of Walpole, died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Norwood Hospital. He was 80. Howard was born October 13, 1933 in Norwood, Massachusetts, one of the two sons of Vera (Johnson) and Chester C. Parsons Sr. He graduated from Walpole High School and enlisted in the Air Force in 1951 where he spent four years in the 6520th Motor Vehicle Squadron. Howard was the owner and proprietor of the Howard F. parsons and Son Plumbing and Heating Company for 30 years until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of the Norwood Council of Churches Bowling League, the Workman’s Hall Bowling League and the Workman’s Hall Softball Team. Howard is survived by his wife, Nancy Ruth (Waechter) Parsons; two sons, Steven H. Parsons, and his wife Andrea, of Foxboro, and Scott B. Parsons, and his wife Barbara, of New Hampshire; and three grandchildren, Paige, Olivia, and Tess. Howard was the brother of the late Chester Charles Parsons Jr., and is also survived by Charles’ wife Patricia, and their son Craig, of Arkansas. Services and interment in Rural cemetery in Walpole will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 would be appreciated.
