Panagiota “Bertha” Panagos, a resident of Westwood, died Friday, december 20, 2013 at Wingate at Needham Nursing Home.  She was 92.  Bertha was born December 8, 1921 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of Pericles and Demetra (Siemekis) Koskoris, immigrants from Greece.  She was a retired Supervisor for Bilene’s Basement in Boston.  Bertha was the wife of the late George Panagos, who predeceased her in August of this year,and the sister of the late George Koskoris.  She is survived by her son, James Panagos of Westwood; her daughter, Christine O’Brien of New York City, New York; and her sister, mary Triantafyllos of West Roxbury.  Bertha’s funeral was held Monday, December 23rd in St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Roslindale, MA.  Burial followed in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
