Caroline Edith (Long) Demery, a resident of Dedham for over 65 years, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Victoria Haven Nursing Home in Norwood.  She was 88. Edith was born September 29, 1924 in Waltham, Massachusetts, a daughter of Ormand R. and Caroline M. (Comey) Long.  Edith worked as a Window Decorator for WT Grant in Needham for ten years.  She was the wife of the late Robert Arthur Demery and the sister of the late Charlie Long, and the late Eleanor Masse.  Edith is survived by her son, Robert A. Demery Jr., of Mendon; her two daughters, Susan M. Favreau of Avon, and Elizabeth A. Frank of Nampa, Idaho; her brother, Bruce Long of Medway; her two sisters, Bethel Glasscock of Millis, and Becky Long of Mexico; and 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday at 2 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham followed by burial in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
