Primeau, Gloria L.
Gloria Lucille Primeau, a longtime resident of Dedham, died Wednesday March 6, 2013, at Highgate Manor in Dedham with her loving family by her side. She was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nicoletta G. (Matteria) Colombo. Gloria was predeceased by her husband James A. Primeau. She was a dedicated volunteer, Past President, of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 2017, holding each of the chairs from Chaplain up to President, a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 18, both of Dedham, as well as the West Roxbury VA Hospital. Gloria loved to read especially murder mysteries. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. Gloria is survived by her sons Richard J. Primeau of Bonneau, South Carolina and Robert A. Primeau of Dedham; her daughters Charlotte J. Pelkey of Oxford, Cheryl E. Johnson of Grand Prairie, Texas, Suzanne M. Berry of Dedham, and Patricia J. Primeau of Dedham. She is also survived by her brother Richard Colombo of Milton, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Lucille Timmons. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 4-8 pm at Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham. Burial services will be private. for all the Primeau family.. I was deeply shocked and extremely saddened to hear of Mrs Primeaus passing … she was such a wonderful lady.. I have nothing but great awesome memories of her… I almost fell over when I found out she passed I had no idea… I pray for her as well as all of you at this time of sorrow. I used to stop by her house on Barrows street just to say hello and catch up on old times… I will cherish those memories.. I love all you guys and you take care
