Coles, Martha L.
Martha Louise (Neale) Coles, formerly a longtime resident of Dedham, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, New Hampshire. She was 86. Martha was born September 10, 1926 in Dedham, Massachusetts, one of the five children of William Wendell and Alice Marie (Klein) Neale. She graduated from Dedham High School with the Class of 1944 and then attended Fisher Junior College for two years. Martha was the wife of the late George A. Coles,to whom she was married for 53 years, and the sister of the late Arthur Neale, the late Ruth Wood, the late Alice Merry, and her twin sister, the late Dorothy Flanagan. She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Perkins of Log Cabin, Texas, Cindy Sullivan of East Kingston, New Hampshire, and Virginia Coles of Palo Alto, California; her eight grandchildren, Jean Baker, Mary Beth Perez, John Perkins, Jr., Adam Perkins, Nicholas and Kara Sullivan, and Katie and Angelina Wahler; and her eight great grandchildren, Caitlin, Amelia, and Dominic Perez, Luke and Waylon Perkins, Brett Baker, Emma Perkins, and Hunter Coy. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, February 14th from 3 to 7 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday at 10 AM at the Allin Congregational Church (where Martha was a lifelong member), 683 High Street, Dedham followed by burial in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. In lieu of flowers donations to the Allin Congregational Church, 683 High Street, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
