Lawrence Adrian Lawrence, a resident of Waltham for the past 12 years, and formerly of Plainville, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at his home in Waltham.  He was 72.  Lawrence was born July 21, 1940 in Norwood, Massachusetts,a son of Edmund L. Sr., and Martha C. (Johnson) Johnson.  He graduated from Norwood High School witht he Class of 1958 and earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, graduating with the Class of 1963.  Lawrence served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1963 to 1966.  He worked as a credit collection manager for United Credit Services and then for Preferred Credit Services.  Lawrence is survived by his son, Mark Raymond Johnson of Mansfield; his daughter, Nicole Martha McKenna of Nashua, New Hampshire; his sister, Elsa Johnson of Mansfield; his two brothers, Edmund L. Johnson Jr. of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Richard A. Johnson of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; and two grandchildren.  Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, January 23rd from 7 to 9 PM at the May Funeral Home, 85 Nichols Street, Norwood.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday ay 11 AM a the United Church of Norwood, 595 Washington Street, Norwood, Massachusetts, 02062 followed by interment in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.  In lieu of flowers donations to the United Church of Norwood (address above) would be appreciated.
