Brobst, William C. Sr.
William Charles Brobst Sr., a longtime resident of Dedham, died Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at his home in Dedham. He was 90. William was born September 20, 1922 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, a son of Charles and Elizabeth (Reifsynder) Brobst. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War 2. William worked for almost 40 years as a window trimmer for Rexall Drug Stores. After his retirement he worked doing auto detailing for Mercedes-Benz. William was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and of American Legion Post 18 of Dedham. He was the husband of the late Clara Dorothea (Graham) Brobst, and the father of the late William C. Brobst Jr. and the late Sharon E. Huber. William is survived by his daughter, Linda D. Brobst-McGuigan of Dedham; two sons, Ronald F. Brobst of Pink Hill, North Carolina and Gary K. Brobst of Topeka, Kansas; his sister, Mildred Bradugian of California; two brothers, Harry Brobst, and Charlie Brobst, both of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, William C. Brobst III of Dedham, Bonnie E. Campbell of West Bridgewater, Cynthia A. Klimpel of Rock Hill South Carolina, Rebecca G. Drown of Richlands, North Carolina, and Ronald F. Brobst Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; and nine great grandchildren. He also leaves his best buddy, William Cole of Hollis, New Hampshire. Services and interment in Brookdale Cemetery will be private.

He was a great man. He was always there to tell you a joke and then 20 minutes later, tell the same one.
I learned a great deal from him and he gave me tips how to live life. He will be truly missed. I love you Gramps! Take St Peter out for some Coffee at McDonalds when you get a chance!
