Christine E. Ferguson, a resident of Roslindale, died at her home on Thursday, January 15th, 2008.  She was 94.  Miss Ferguson was born May 4, 1914 in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Katherine (Macuspic) Ferguson.  She worked as a secretary for Metropolitan Life Insurance Comapny, formerly New England Life Insurance Company.  Christine is survived by her dear sister Sally Alborghetti, and her husband Peter, of Dedham, and was the sister of the late John and Duncan Ferguson.  She is also survived by her nieces Susan Alborghetti of Roslindale and Paula Alborghetti of Dedham, and her nephews David Alborghetti of Randolph, and Stephen Alborghetti, and his wife Marie, of Pelham, NH, as well as her twin grandnephews, Peter and Nicholas Alborghetti of Pelham, NH.  Christine was a member of the Senior Citizens of Roslindale, and she liked to travel.  She was very devoted to her family, and cared for her mother and her brothers through their illnesses.  She was an avid animal lover, she enjoyed cooking, and she was a generous supporter of various charities.  Christine’s funeral will be held Wednesday, January 21st, 2008 at 11 AM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham followed by burial in Mout Hope Cemetery in Boston.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA), 350 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130, or to the Animal Rescue League, 55 Anna’s Place, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
