Donohue, Joseph F.
Joseph F. Donohue, a longtime resident of Dedham died Sunday, September 25, 2011, at Highgate Manor after a brief illness. He was 65. Joe was born in Boston and grew up in West Roxbury. He was the son of the late William L. Sr. & Mary T. (Findlen) Donohue. He graduated from Roslindale High School and was a Tile Setter for Donohue Tile Company for over 30 years. He was predeceased by his son Brian Donohue. He is survived by his daughter Lynne M. Donohue of Hyde Park; his grandchildren, Ray-Shawn Nunez and Tyanna Perez; his sisters Anne Marie Angers of Topsham, ME and Mary T. Hall of Cypress, CA; and his brother John E. Donohue of West Roxbury. He was the former husband of Leigh B. Donohue, and the brother of the late Neil P. Donohue and William L. Donohue Jr.; and dear friend the late Sandy Dwyer. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., Dedham. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, September 30th, at 11:30 am at St. Theresa of Avila Chapel, Centre Street, West Roxbury. Please gather directly at church the day of the funeral. Burial will be at New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
Joe was a very special person & will be missed but not forgotten by many.
