Edna kept a garden for much of her life, and volunteered for many years in the town of Billerica, especially at the public library. She loved spending time with friends and family.
A private family ceremony is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Edna’s memory to Nashoba Park Assisted Living Residents’ Fund, 15 Winthrop Avenue, Ayer, MA 01432, or First Church of Christ, Scientist, P.O. Box 122, Lexington, MA, 02420.
In addition to the achievements already mentioned, Aunt Edna was also a woman of grace and dignity. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent in her home while growing up and then to have her visit us in my home as an adult. Aunt Edna was a wonderful example of a life well lived and how to grow in age gracefully. She will be missed. With love to you my cousins, Anne Marie & Gary
We had the pleasure of knowing Edna for 7 years now, when Jason and Meredith first met. We smile when we think of Edna and certainly have such fond memories of her. She did not hesitate to celebrate all special occasions with her family and what a pleasure it was to know her. Peter and I send our condolences to Barbara and Mike, Ruth and Rick, Earl and Kim and to all her grandchildren and great grandchild. We will be thinking of you all on the 9th.
Donna and Peter
