Charlie,
We loved you even from afar. Rest easy cousin.
Grandpa (Papa),
We loved you sooo much. Words can’t describe how much you made a difference in our lives! You will be missed but always in our hearts.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
We met Charlie while camping for the winter on Pine Island in Florida. Even with health issues, he was always smiling riding on his scooter with his dog! It was a pleasure to call him a friend!
Our thoughts and prayers are with Edna and family.
sincerely, Jim and Betty Clarke
Dad,
My heart aches not to see you, to hug you and to be able to tell you just how much I love you. I have peace knowing that you are no longer uncomfortable, and that one day I will be able to share my love with you again. I know you will be my angel when it is my time, and will guide me as you always have. My love for you will never fade, it seems to be growing even stronger with every tear I shed.
You will always be in my heart!
Love, your baby girl

My condolances to the family. He will be missed.
Dear Papa..
I only hope that I could put into words just what you meant to us. You accepted me as a young girl into your family and have always made me feel not only welcome. but as though I belonged. There is no way for me to describe what that meant to me. What that still means to me.
Over the years, you have taken each of us aside at one point or another & given us unsolicited advice based on your years of experience and wisdom. From giving me advice while dancing with me on my wedding day right up until a quiet conversation with Ryan this past Christmas. Your words have rang true in all of us & your advice sticks with us more than you could ever know. It always will. I will pass your stories onto my grandchildren.
Personally, your tours of your vegetable garden & all of the things that you taught me about gardening over the years have fueled my passion for vegetable gardening. I think of you often when I am puttering out there. I understand how it can draw you in. I remember Mimi calling you in from the garden for lunch.. it’s not always so easy to leave, is it??
It also wasn’t easy for you to leave the family that you loved so. You hung on for so long. You will be terribly missed. I take solace in the fact that you are no longer uncomfortable and are finally at peace.
As we head to your services, know that we will be celebrating your live. A long, wonderful, accomplished life. The world is a better place because you were here. I could never thank you enough…..
Rest in Peace.
much much Love,
Michelle, Scott, Jason, Amanda, Ryan and Alison…
He had a very full life. May the many memories & loved ones help you through this difficult time.
