Dluzynski Quinn, Laura A.
Laura A. Dluzynski Quinn, a resident of Dedham, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 after a long illness. She was 45. Laura was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Medina, Ohio in 1974. She graduated as Valedictorian of Cloverleaf High School, Lodi Ohio, in 1984. She received her BA in English from Hiram College, Summa Cum Laude, Hiram, Ohio in 1989. Laura continued her education in Boston receiving her MA in English in 1990 & her Ph D in 1996 at Boston University. She was a lecturer at MIT in Cambridge, Masssachusetts from 1996-1997. Then in 1998 she began teaching English at Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, Massachusetts until 2003.Please visit Laura’s Caring Bridge website which includes her journals, family photos and guest lists at www.caringbridge.org/visit/lauradquinn. She is survived by her husband of 16 years Malcolm E. Quinn of Dedham; her two young children Zia D. and Caleb A. Quinn of Dedham; her parents David A & Delicia (Gorzelanczyk) Dluzynski of Medina, Ohio and The Villages, Florida; her brother David A. Dluzynski of Columbus, Ohio; her mother-in-law Rayellen Chisholm of New Zealand; and her sister-in-law Viv Redwood of New Zealand. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10 O’clock at St. Susanna’s Church, 262 Needham Street, Dedham, MA. Burial will be private.
