Dear Richard, Janet,Buddy, Judy & Barbara….Imagine my surprise looking in today’s Globe for my own fathers obituary(Bob McCormack) that I saw that my mother’s best friend ever, had just passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Ruthie as a fun-loving, energetic woman. I will always remember our times together at your summer home in Littleton and of course, our early days at Ruggles Street. Love and Blessings to all of you as you grieve together.
I still can’t believe you are gone. I miss you, but I know that you and Banky are together again. That does put a smile on my face. I will always love you Nana!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Ruth’s family –
We miss Ruth so much at church – she used to sit in front of us and always gave us a great smile and greeting. Even with all her recent physical problems, she was always “fine”. She had a great spirit and did well for so long but had a tough time in recent months, and we’re glad that she is at peace now. We hope you all have happy memories of her to keep her close. We will always remember her with a smile.
I have many memories of you, Auntie Ruth, the times we spent at your house in Boston and Littleton, the times you and Uncle Wilbur visited us in Sanford, NC and later in Franklin, NC and the time you drove yourself (you were 84 at the time) to Va Beach to visit us. You lived a long and vigorous life and you will be missed by many. I’ll keep all of your family in my thoughts and prayers.
