Holtman, Marilyn G.
Marilyn Gladys (Honer) Holtman, of Walpole for the past 17 years, and formerly of Dedham for 28 years, and of Maine, died Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 at her home in Walpole. She was 77. Marilyn was born September 4, 1933 in West Roxbury, one of the four daughters of Albert and Gladys (Peters) Honer. She attended Westwood High School before graduating from Roslindale High School. Marilyn worked for about 20 years as a bookkeeper for Bruce’s Animal Hospital in Dedham until her retirement in 1976. In her retirement she enjoyed reading and playing cards at the Walpole Senior Center. Marilyn was the wife of the late August A. Holtman, and the sister of the late Hazel Honer and the late Marjorie Seabury. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl A. Camuso of Walpole and Karen Staples of Bellingham; and her sister Phyllis Honer of Florida. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Tuesday at 1 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood. Burial will follow in the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery in West Roxbury.
