Lynch, John
John Daniel Lynch, a resident of Roslindale for 33 years, died Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 at his home in Roslindale. He was 76. John was born in Boston May 10, 1932. He served in the US Army during the Korea Conflict and worked as a security guard at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston for 10 years until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen R. (Ellis); his three sons, Dennis D. Lynch of Foxboro, Thomas C. Lynch of Stoughton, and George S. Lynch of Roslindale; his three daughters, Deborah A. Lynch of Roslindale, Theresa M. Lynch of Medfield, and Nancy J. Lynch of Roslindale; his two sisters, Lorraine Botch of Boston, and Jean Pavidis of Marshfield; as well as his grandson Jonathan P. Lynch, and 13 other grandchildren. He was the father of the late John P. Lynch and the late Kenneth M. Lynch. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, November 2nd from 5-8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 63 Belgrade Avenue, Roslindale. Relatives and friends will gather at the Funeral Home Monday at 10:30 AM and proceed to Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway, Roslindale for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
