DiMartino, Mary F.
Mary Frances (Taglione) DiMartino, a longtime resident of Dedham, dies Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham after a short illness. She was 87. Mary was born June 3, 1923 in Dedham, Massachusetts, a daughter of Edward and Rose (Natale) Taglione, immigrants from Italy. She graduated from Dedham High School with the Class of 1941 and worked as a typist for Westinghouse Corporation in Hyde Park for 14 years until her retirement in 1955. Mary was a member of the Dedham Council on Aging and of the Roslindale Villagers. Mary was the wife of the late Joseph John DiMartino, and is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie DiMartino of Dedham; her two sons, David Joseph DiMartino and his wife Donna of Dedham and William Edward DiMartino and his wife Tina of Dedham; her two sisters, Phyllis Serani of Dedham and Rose Blackmore of Dedham; as well as her granddaughter, Sarah DiMartino of Dedham. Mary also had two deceased brothers. Visiting hours will be held Monday, November 29th from 4 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Relatives and friends will gather Tuesday at 8 am at the funeral home and proceed to St. Mary’s Church, 420 High Street, Dedham for her Mass of Christian Burial at 9 o clock. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.

Rose I am very sorry for you and your family for your loss. This has been a terrible year for everyone. My father in law passed, and my uncle. My aunt is fighting liver disease and my cousin has cancer. The holidays are the toughest but I wish you strenth and an ear if you want to talk.
