Dietzel, Frances Pearl
Frances Pearl (MacDonald) Dietzel, a resident of Dedham since 1956, died Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 at the Charlwell Nursing Home in Norwood after a long illness. She was 81. Pearl was born June 8, 1929 in Norwood, Massachusetts, a daughter of Charles H. and Bessie (Thayer) MacDonald. She grew up in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School. She is survived by her husband, Frank George Dietzel; her son Frank George Dietzel Jr., and his wife Cindy, of Westwood; her two grandchildren, Andrew J. Dietzel, and Amanda J. Dietzel, both of Westwood; her sister, Phyllis MacDonald of Walpole; and her two brothers, Charles MacDonald of Blackstone, and Ralph Peckham of Walpole. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 to 8 PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham. Pearl’s funeral will be Tuesday at 10 AM at the Funeral Home followed by burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sol Amor Hospice, 123 Waterhouse Road, Suite 5, Bourne, MA 02532 would be appreciated.

Frank, we will remember how kind and cheerful Pearl was.
